About Highbury House Nursing Home
Highbury House Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 30 people over the age of 65, including those with complex needs, end-of-life care requirements, and people living with memory loss. At the time of inspection, 24 people were using the service.
Inspectors identified concerns with the home's governance and quality monitoring systems, which had not been effective in identifying several risks and maintaining accurate records. These gaps included safe management of medicines, environmental safety, care-related risks, emergency evacuation procedures, and infection control practices.
