High Trees Residential Home

High Trees comprises two separate houses providing accommodation for up to 16 people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder, though 12 were living there at inspection. The service had not been developed or designed in line with best practice guidance for supporting people with these needs. This was partly because the accommodation required some residents to share facilities including bathrooms and communal areas, which did not align with modern standards for this type of care.
