Could the NHS fund High Ridges's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
High Ridges provides residential care for up to six people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions, some of whom also have physical disabilities and sensory impairments. The service is deliberately designed to be indistinguishable from a regular home, with no identifying signs, cameras, or institutional features. Staff avoid wearing uniforms when accompanying residents, further normalizing the environment.
Staff demonstrate an excellent understanding of residents' needs and are exceptionally skilled at supporting them. They are dedicated to promoting independence, viewing each interaction as an opportunity to help people achieve greater control and choice in their lives. Residents receive person-centred support that is planned, coordinated, and inclusive, enabling them to live as full and meaningful a life as possible.
