Heron Hill Care Home

Heron Hill Care Home provides nursing care for up to 86 people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall, with an outstanding rating for how caring staff were. Inspectors found people felt safe, well supported and involved in decisions about their care, with staff who knew them well and treated them with kindness and respect.

Leadership was found to be strong, with an open culture and good teamwork across services. Risks were generally well managed and staffing levels were appropriate, though the CQC found that medicines were not always managed safely to meet people's needs. Families and residents spoke very positively about the standard of care provided.
