Heather Vale

Heather Vale provides personal and nursing care to up to 39 people aged 65 and over across two floors in a single adapted building. Each floor has two separate wings with individual bedrooms and communal living facilities including dining rooms, kitchenette areas and specialist bathing facilities.

Inspectors found that auditing systems were not always effective or used to drive improvement in the quality and safety of the service. Medicine errors had not been consistently identified or addressed, and care plans did not always contain all required information or appropriate risk assessments aligned with people's long-term conditions.
