Headingley Nursing Home

Headingley Nursing Home, in Leeds, is a nursing home providing care and support for up to 38 people, including older people, younger adults, and those living with dementia, mental ill health, sensory or physical disability, and learning disabilities. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it had improved since 2022, when it had been in breach of regulations relating to safeguarding and governance.

Inspectors found staff kind, attentive and well trained, with sufficient staffing and effective safeguarding practices. People felt safe, respected and involved in their care, and praised the food and activities on offer. The environment was clean, though some areas needed refurbishment, and leadership was found to be visible, supportive and focused on continuous improvement.
