Harrogate Lodge

Harrogate Lodge, in Leeds, is a care home supporting up to 50 people, providing personal care for people living with dementia alongside an intermediate care service for those needing rehabilitation support. At the time of the assessment it was supporting 44 people. The CQC rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found a positive, open safety culture, with risks and medicines well managed and staff treating people with kindness and respect. Most people and relatives praised the food, care and staff, though one person said call buzzers were not always answered promptly. Management was found to have clear accountability and a strong focus on ongoing improvement.
