Hazeldell Residential Home

Hazeldell Residential Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 42 older people. During inspection, 32 residents were living at the service. The new manager has implemented an action plan to address previous breaches and improve safety. The service invited the local authority to provide staff training to develop knowledge and skills.

The home now follows a policy and procedure for managing medicines safely, with people receiving their medications as prescribed. Risks to residents' wellbeing have been assessed and staff have documented actions they are taking to reduce those risks.
