Haydon-Mayer

Haydon-Mayer provides personal and nursing care to older people, including those living with dementia, accommodating up to 32 residents. At inspection, 24 people were using the service in a large, adapted building.

Residents reported feeling happy and safe at the home. However, inspectors found significant concerns with care planning and medicines management. Care plans lacked detailed, accurate information needed for staff to support people consistently and safely. Medicines were not managed safely, with guidance for staff about when to give 'when required' medicines being inaccurate and not person-centred, which risked residents not receiving medication when needed.
