Chestfield House

Chestfield House provides personal and nursing care to up to 32 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 27 residents were living in one large adapted building.

Residents felt safe and reported that staff treated them with kindness and respect. However, potential risks to health and welfare had not been consistently assessed, and staff lacked clear guidance on how to mitigate these risks. Medicines management showed gaps, with inaccurate records identified. While staff recruitment followed safe procedures, improvements were needed in documentation such as references and checks.
