Hatherleigh Care Village

Hatherleigh Care Village is a care home providing personal and nursing care to people living on site. The CQC carried out a responsive assessment after concerns were raised anonymously about medicines management, following a medicines error reported by the service. Inspectors found people generally received their medicines safely and as prescribed.

Some improvements were still needed in areas of medicines management, though the service was not found to be in breach of regulations. The home was rated Good overall, with the Nominated Individual responding well to the concerns raised and taking appropriate action.
