Hartwood House

Hartwood House provides personal care for up to 50 older people, some living with dementia. During the inspection, 35 residents were using the service. The management team acknowledged facing challenges following the deregistration of the nursing element and identified that communication with external professionals needed improvement to strengthen collaborative working.

Staff received effective training in identifying potential abuse and expressed confidence that the registered manager would investigate any concerns raised. Care plans and risk assessments were in place to guide staff in supporting residents appropriately.
