Woodlands House

Woodlands House provides personal care and accommodation for up to 40 older people, with 37 residents at the time of inspection. The home includes a separate dementia cottage designed to provide higher levels of care for residents living with dementia. Appropriate risk assessments are conducted for people at risk of falls, and the home investigates unwitnessed falls while monitoring patterns and trends.

Staff receive suitable training in medicine administration with regular competence assessments, and effective arrangements are in place to support people requiring medication assistance.
