Hadrian House

Hadrian House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 43 people with mental health conditions, sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and dementia. At inspection, 39 people were using the service, with accommodation spread across ground and first floors featuring communal lounges and dining areas on both levels. Staff supported people with maximum choice and control, using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. Care records contained clear guidance for meeting people's needs and promoting their health, welfare and safety. Risk assessments were in place and kept under review.

Safeguarding systems were established and understood by staff, with lessons learned through incident analysis driving improvements. Medicine management was safe, supported by clear guidance and protocols. Staff had completed robust recruitment processes and possessed necessary skills and experience to meet people's needs. External contractors maintained systems and equipment.
