Greenbanks Care Home

Greenbanks Care Home provides personal care to up to 19 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. People and their relatives reported feeling safe at the service. Staff and management demonstrated knowledge of identifying signs of abuse and escalating concerns appropriately. The home maintained sufficient staffing levels and safe recruitment practices, with staff receiving support to develop their skills. Management reviewed accidents and incidents to prevent reoccurrences, and infection control procedures were in place.

Staff showed good knowledge of individual residents and supported them according to their personal wishes and preferences. The service worked with healthcare professionals to address residents' physical and mental health needs, as well as their nutrition and hydration. Medicines were administered safely as prescribed, and risks to residents' health, wellbeing and environmental safety were assessed and managed effectively. Staff supported residents to maintain healthy lifestyles.
