Cedardale Residential Home

Cedardale accommodates up to 29 older people and those living with dementia, with 25 residents at the time of inspection. The home provides personal care and accommodation as a single service package.

During inspection, issues were identified with medicine administration that did not always align with residents' care plans. Recent medicine audits had not been conducted, which would have identified recording and reporting errors discovered during the visit. The home manager took immediate action following inspection to rectify these errors and implement improvements.

Residents and their relatives reported feeling safe at the service, with risk assessments in place to support their wellbeing.
