Greenbanks Care Home

Greenbanks Care Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 30 people, predominantly older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 22 residents were using the service across two floors in one building. The home's quality and safety monitoring systems were not robust, with governance processes failing to identify significant concerns. Inspectors found that medicines were not always safely managed, including controlled drugs, and risks related to the premises were not adequately addressed, particularly regarding fire safety. The provider had failed to address breaches identified in a previous inspection from February 2023, despite submitting an action plan, and had not met warning notices that had been issued. Systems to identify and mitigate risk were not effective.
