Green Tree Court

Green Tree Court is a purpose-built care home with nursing for up to 68 people across three units. Willow unit specializes in dementia care, while Larch and Maple provide general nursing care. The service offers both long-term and respite care, and at inspection there were 49 residents living across the three units.

Inspectors found staff were caring and often went above and beyond to support people. However, concerns were identified in medicines practice, including staff not following the service's medicines policy and one instance where a staff member used one person's prescribed thickening agent for another resident's drink. Some medicines were not being clearly evaluated for effectiveness, such as pain relief. No one was harmed by these issues, and management took immediate action to resolve them. Inspectors also noted that some staff communication was not always supportive of people's well-being, which management immediately addressed.
