Green Park Care Home in Warrington provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 100 older people, some living with dementia, across six units. The CQC rated the home requires improvement overall, identifying four breaches relating to safe care, medicines management, infection control and governance. Environmental hazards, cleanliness issues and inconsistencies in care records and medication practices were found, though the manager acted swiftly to address concerns raised.

Inspectors found staff kind and caring, with positive feedback from relatives and access to varied activities and comfortable communal spaces. A new manager had introduced positive changes, though staffing levels and governance systems needed further review to ensure issues are consistently identified and addressed.
