Millbrow Care Home

Millbrow Care Home is a nursing home providing support to older people living with dementia and those with nursing needs. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that previous breaches around safe care and governance had been resolved, with staff managing risks well and medicines generally handled properly. Some areas still need redecoration to better suit people with dementia, and staffing levels did not always allow prompt responses to call bells.

Inspectors found people were treated with kindness, dignity and respect, with staff well trained and supported. Residents and relatives spoke positively about feeling safe and well cared for. Leadership was described as visible, approachable and focused on continuous improvement.
