Great Wheatley Nursing Home

Great Wheatley Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to around 21 people. At the time of inspection, 17 people were using the service. Care and treatment are planned to ensure people's safety and welfare, with staff appropriately recruited and trained. Systems are in place to minimise infection risk and learn from incidents, while medication is dispensed by trained staff. People are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests.

The home maintains a well-kept environment suitable for residents and supports people to eat and drink adequately, making referrals to health professionals when needed. Residents and relatives gave positive feedback on their experience. People are supported to follow their interests and participate in social activities, and complaints are responded to promptly.
