Grasmere Rest Home

Grasmere Rest Home accommodates up to 25 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 22 residents were living there. The service has implemented thoughtful visiting arrangements that balance residents' social connections with safety measures. Family and friend visits are scheduled at staggered times in the garden or designated lounge area, with visitors having their temperature checked and being screened for Covid-19 symptoms before entry. Contact details are collected for test and trace purposes, and visitors are provided with personal protective equipment including hand sanitiser and face masks to wear throughout their visit.
