Goldenhill Nursing Home

Goldenhill Nursing Home provides accommodation, personal care and nursing care for people aged 65 and over, with capacity for 44 residents. The home currently supports 36 people, including those living with dementia, across a two-storey building. The ground floor supports people recovering after hospital discharge, while communal lounges, dining areas and a secure garden are available on each floor. Staff received intensive infection control training from a specialist nurse, who then supported colleagues with observations across the team to maintain safety for residents, visitors and staff. Clear zones throughout the home promoted safe social distancing and minimised cross-infection risks. A conservatory space allowed relatives and friends to undertake COVID-19 testing safely during visits.
