Acorn Lodge Care Home

Acorn Lodge Care Home is a purpose-built residential care home accommodating up to 60 people across two floors, Willow Way and Cherry Tree. It provides personal care support to older people, younger adults, people with physical disabilities and people with dementia. At inspection, 56 people were using the service. Each person has their own bedroom with en-suite facilities, and both floors feature large communal spaces and access to a garden.

The home has made significant improvements to its governance systems and quality assurance arrangements. Daily, weekly, monthly and annual audits and checks are now in place across all levels. Record-keeping for people has been strengthened to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness. The provider has demonstrated a culture of continuous improvement in response to previous inspection findings.
