Ghyll Royd Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to 45 people aged 65 and over across three units. Yew and Rowan units offer general nursing care, while Beech unit specialises in dementia care, each with its own unit manager. The service has capacity for up to 76 people.
The home has effective safeguarding systems in place and staff understand how to respond to concerns. People and their relatives reported feeling safe at the service. Medicines are managed safely and people receive their prescribed medications as directed.
Risk management systems are established to identify and reduce risks for people in the home.
