Hillbro Nursing Home

Hillbro Nursing Home provides care to older people, those with mental health needs and people living with dementia, accommodating 43 people in one adapted building. At inspection, 40 people were using the service.

Everyone told inspectors the service was safe with sufficient staff on duty to meet people's needs. Risks associated with people's care were managed safely and medicines were well managed. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. The service had systems in place for learning lessons when things go wrong and policies supporting these practices.
