Freshfields Residential Home

Freshfields Residential Home is a residential care home providing personal care and accommodation for up to 36 people across three floors. At the time of the assessment, 35 people were living there. The home was rated Good overall, an improvement on its previous Requires Improvement rating.

The CQC found people were kept safe, with good risk assessment, safe recruitment and appropriate staffing levels. Staff understood the Mental Capacity Act and involved people in decisions about their care. Care plans were personalised, and the management team used feedback and audits to drive ongoing improvement, with staff feeling well supported.
