Little Gaynes Rest Home provides personal care to up to 20 older people, some living with dementia, in an adapted residential property spread over two floors. At inspection, 18 people were using the service. The home carries out pre-admission assessments, though these do not comprehensively cover people's needs relating to equality and diversity. Quality assurance and monitoring systems are in place but are not consistently effective. Inspectors made a recommendation regarding the safe management of medicines at the home.
