Frances Bolitho Care Home

Frances Bolitho Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 12 older people and those with physical disabilities, currently supporting ten residents. The service accommodates a mix of permanent residents, people using respite care, and individuals continuing rehabilitation therapy. The home operates from a temporary building while a permanent larger facility on the same site remains under construction with delayed completion.

Storage presents a significant challenge at the service. One communal bathroom is unusable because it is stacked full of equipment, much of which is not being used, including walking frames, perching stools, raised toilet seats and other rehabilitation aids.
