Fountain Nursing and Care Home Limited provides nursing and personal care for up to 27 older adults, many living with dementia or complex mental health needs. The CQC rated the service inadequate overall and has placed it in special measures, taking enforcement action after finding the service had deteriorated significantly since its last inspection.

Inspectors identified nine new breaches of regulations, covering risk management, nutrition, staffing, safe recruitment, and dignity. Staff lacked sufficient training and guidance, the premises were poorly maintained, and governance systems failed to catch these problems. Most people and relatives felt safe and spoke positively about staff, but felt poorly informed and involved, with activities and stimulation needing considerable improvement.
