About Fordingbridge Care Home

Fordingbridge Care Home is a nursing home in Hampshire, providing personal care and support to older people. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent assessment.

Fordingbridge Care Home provides personal care and support to older people. The CQC assessed the service after concerns were raised about staff knowledge around falls management and medicines, and found it to be Good overall.

Inspectors found enough staff, robust recruitment, effective infection control and a positive learning culture. However, medicines records lacked personalised detail, care plans were sometimes generic, and mental capacity assessments were not always decision specific. People and relatives spoke warmly of staff, describing them as approachable and a big part of their lives.
