Bickerley Green Care Home with Nursing

Bickerley Green care home with nursing provides personal and nursing care to 57 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 60 residents. The service supports people admitted for short stays, reablement, and those living with dementia.

People felt safe at the home. Staff had received training in safeguarding and understood the actions to take if they identified concerns. Systems were in place to ensure the safe storage and administration of medicines, with staff who had received appropriate training and assessments responsible for dispensing them. A range of healthcare professionals, including chiropodists, opticians, GPs and dentists, were involved in people's care.
