Field House Rest Home

Field House Rest Home is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to people aged 65 and over, some of whom are living with dementia, physical disability or sensory impairment. The CQC found the home had made the improvements needed since its previous inspection, when breaches relating to safe care and governance were identified. Medicines were now managed safely, and quality assurance systems had strengthened, though inspectors noted further work was needed on monitoring cleanliness and the environment in some areas.

People and relatives spoke positively about the care provided, describing staff as kind and responsive. Inspectors found sufficient numbers of experienced staff were available, people felt safe, and they could make everyday choices such as when to get up. The service is now rated Good overall.
