Staff adopted a positive risk-taking approach, enabling the person to make their own decisions and participate in age-appropriate activities rather than restricting them. Risks were identified and managed with the person's consent and agreement. Social inclusion and independence were clear priorities in the care provided, with the resident actively involved in their local community.
