Acacia House - Peterborough

The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that staff supported people safely, understood safeguarding, and managed known risks such as falls or medicines carefully while still encouraging people to try new things and build life skills.

Inspectors found a positive, settled culture, with relatives confident their concerns would be heard. Staff were described as kind and attentive, and people were supported to take part in activities in and outside the home. Some improvement was needed in staff recording, and there was no registered manager in post at the time, though management oversight was otherwise considered good.
