Fernbrook House

Fernbrook House is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to people aged 65 and over, accommodating up to 30 residents across two floors in a residential area. At inspection, 25 people were living there.

The home demonstrated strong infection prevention and control practices. Staff had received training on infection prevention control and proper use of PPE. People and staff were regularly tested for COVID-19, and when positive results occurred, the registered manager responded quickly to support affected individuals and mitigate transmission risks. The home followed government guidance on infection prevention control measures throughout the service.
