Clifton Lodge

Clifton Lodge accommodates up to 35 older people living with dementia and mental health needs, with 30 residents at the time of inspection. Governance arrangements required improvement to properly assess and monitor service quality, as current systems had not identified issues found during the inspection. Care plans inadequately addressed residents' mental healthcare needs and their impact on overall health and wellbeing. Documentation of people's end of life care needs was also missing. The service required strengthening in these key areas to ensure residents received comprehensive, person-centred care that fully reflected their complex needs.
