Cedars Care Home

This 48-bed care home provides personal care for people, including those living with dementia, in a purpose-built building with accessible gardens and community access. At inspection, 45 residents were present. Staff take a holistic approach to assessing and planning care, placing importance on individual needs and preferences. A range of group and individualised activities are available both within the home and in the local community, with staff finding creative ways to support residents in achieving an enriched quality of life. The home maintains adequate staffing levels to protect people's wellbeing, safety and security, with robust recruitment processes in place. Residents and relatives reported feeling safe, and staff have received safeguarding training and know how to respond to concerns.
