Boscombe Lodge Nursing Home

Boscombe Lodge Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 31 people across two floors, with residents having their own rooms and access to shared communal facilities. At inspection, 25 people were using the service. Residents and their families gave positive feedback, with one person describing staff as "as good as gold" and another calling it "a very good home."

Care is planned to ensure safety and welfare, with staff recruited following appropriate checks and trained to deliver care safely. The home has systems in place to minimise infection risk and learn from accidents and incidents. Medication is dispensed by trained staff, and people are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible. The registered manager monitors the service, measures outcomes for residents, and implements improvements where needed.
