Farnworth Care Home

Farnworth Care Home accommodates 120 people across three specialised units. The Firwood unit provides support for people living with dementia, the Burnden unit caters to those with nursing needs, and the Belmont unit supports people requiring assistance with personal care. At inspection, 101 people were receiving care across these floors.

People were kept safe from abuse and safeguarding concerns were reported appropriately. Care plans were personalised and identified individual risks with clear management strategies. Medicines were managed safely and effective infection control practices were in place.
