Faith House Residential Home

Faith House Residential Home provides residential care for older people. Following a previous inspection, the CQC found some improvements had been made, particularly around staffing levels and the environment, which had been redecorated with a new kitchen and front doors. However, the home remains rated Requires Improvement overall.

Inspectors found the service continued to breach regulations on good governance and identified new concerns about safe care and treatment. Some environmental and individual risk assessments had not been reviewed promptly, and medicines were not always managed safely, with gaps in guidance for covert, topical and "as required" medicines. People and relatives spoke positively about kindness, comfort and staffing, though management oversight needs further strengthening.
