Fairlight

Fairlight provides personal care to up to 29 people aged 65 and over, with 26 residents living there at the time of inspection. Residents spoke positively about their experience at the home and felt protected from abuse, with staff demonstrating knowledge of safeguarding procedures. Risk management plans were in place and followed by staff to keep people safe, and adequate staffing levels ensured residents received the support they needed.

The home safely managed residents' medicines and followed safe recruitment practices when hiring staff. New team members received induction, training, and regular supervision to support them in their roles. Before moving into the home, people's needs were assessed to ensure the service could meet their requirements.
