Eynesbury provides accommodation and support for up to nine people with learning disabilities in a two-storey building. During inspection, all nine residents were living at the service. The home had implemented comprehensive COVID-19 safety measures, including health screening at entry, temperature checks, rapid testing, and provision of personal protective equipment for visitors. A booking system managed visits, and residents had chosen designated visitors. People maintained contact with family and friends through video calls and telephone, with staff providing assistance where needed. All residents opted to wear masks in communal areas.
The service maintained high cleanliness standards with cleaning ongoing throughout the inspection. Staff had received training in infection control, COVID-19 procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment. Some residents preferred to meet family members outdoors in local parks to maintain distance. The provider had developed policies, procedures, and risk assessments specifically for managing COVID-19 within the service.
