About Elm House

Elm House is a residential care home in Cambridgeshire, providing personal care and accommodation for people with learning disabilities. The findings below set out what the CQC found on its most recent inspection.

Elm House provides personal care and accommodation for up to six people with learning disabilities. The service implemented measures to support residents' connections with family and friends, including facilitating video calls via tablets and phones to maintain social contact. Visitors were welcome at the service, with protocols in place including rapid COVID-19 tests, temperature checks, and PPE to protect residents and staff.

Most family and friends chose to visit their relatives outside the service, and scheduled visits were arranged with gaps between them to minimise contact between different groups.
