Evergreen House Residential Home

Evergreen House provides personal care to up to 38 older people, some with physical disabilities or dementia. At inspection, 28 people were using the service, which operates from one adapted building.

Inspectors found that people were not supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives. Staff did not support them in the least restrictive way possible, and the service's policies and systems did not support this practice. While people's mental capacity had been considered generally, the service had not assessed people's capacity to make specific decisions.
