Meadowyrthe

Meadowyrthe is a residential care home providing support to older people with physical difficulties, sensory impairments, mental health needs and dementia. The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found staff managed risks safely, medicines were administered properly, and there were enough staff on duty who knew people well.

Some gaps were noted in fire check recordings, medicines fridge monitoring, and areas of the building needing refurbishment.

People and relatives spoke positively about the kindness and skill of staff, and felt safe and well informed about care and any incidents. Leaders were visible and supportive, with good governance and a culture of continuous improvement. Previous breaches around safe care and governance had been resolved by the time of this assessment.
