Ernelesthorp Manor & Lodge

This care home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 65 people across two units, with one unit closed at the time of inspection. It supported 33 residents, some of whom were living with dementia. People felt safe at the service, and staff demonstrated good understanding of abuse and safeguarding procedures for reporting concerns. Relatives confirmed their family members were kept safe. Staffing levels were adequate to support residents safely.

Medicines were managed safely and administered as prescribed. Staff administering medicines had received training that was regularly refreshed, and they were aware of residents at risk due to health conditions.
