Elm Road

Elm Road provides residential care for up to two people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with two residents living there.

Staff had received training to recognise signs of abuse and understood how to report suspected wrongdoing, ensuring people were protected from ill-treatment. The provider had assessed risks associated with each person's care and support, and staff demonstrated good knowledge of these risks and how to minimise potential harm. People received safe support with their medicines from staff who had been trained and assessed as competent, with systems in place to manage any errors and ensure the person's safety.
