School House

This care home supports up to three people with learning disabilities or autism. At the time of inspection, two people were living there. Residents and their relatives reported feeling safe and well supported. Staff assessed and managed risks to enable people to participate in activities they enjoyed, while supporting them to make choices and maintain independence in the least restrictive way. Visitors were welcomed without restrictions.

The home had sufficient staffing with safe recruitment processes in place. Staff followed care plans tailored to individual preferences and supported people to take medicines safely. Infection prevention and control practices were observed throughout the service, protecting residents from avoidable harm and abuse.
