Elliott House

Elliott House provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to 9 people with a learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder, most living in the main house with one person in a separate annex. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, following concerns about risk management and the safety of the environment.

Inspectors found staff were skilled, kind and compassionate, and people took part in activities at home and in the community, including planned holidays. However, the CQC identified breaches relating to safeguarding, infection prevention and control, and governance, with risks, medicines and restrictions not always properly managed or picked up by the provider's own oversight systems.
